However, if you accumulate enough money to purchase all the engine upgrades at once (Big Wings, Turbo/Jet/Rocket Engines) along with a special weapon, you can get an unlimited amount of the weapon. Enter a shop, and at the weapon selection screen, choose the Small Wings and a special weapon (like the 7 Shot). No time limit should be listed for the special weapon. After exiting, a new shop/selection balloon should appear; enter it and you will be able to switch to a better engine while retaining the unlimited time for the special weapon. =>Discount Lives: Wait for the story text to begin rolling on the screen, then press (U D)x25. If you finish this before the prologue ends and the game starts, you should be able to buy extra lives for just $1000 each at the first shop you enter.
